BackerKit Surveys Are Out!

The next step of the Firelight adventure is about to begin - BackerKit surveys are out! If you backed Firelight on Kickstarter, please check the associated email address for surveys, and remember to check your Spam folders if you haven't seen anything come through within the day!
From within the BackerKit survey, you can:
- Confirm any Add-Ons you ordered during the Kickstarter campaign
- Add more Add-Ons to your order
- Manage your shipping address and contact information

Kickstarter Funds Received + BackerKit Surveys & Pre-Orders!

Greetings Adventurers! We're writing to let you know that the funds for Firelight have left Kickstarter and hit our business bank account. That means we can officially proceed with the next steps involved in bringing Firelight to the public!
The first of those steps is to launch BackerKit surveys for all of our backers. If you purchased any Add-Ons during the Firelight Kickstarter campaign, this will be your chance to claim those Add-Ons and make sure you receive the correct items when the game ships early next year.
If you didn't purchase any Add-Ons but would like to get some now, BackerKit will also allow you to add the Eldritch Visions expansion, the custom dice, the Art Book, the Map Book and the Game Master's Handbook on to your order.
Our BackerKit survey is currently under review by the BackerKit team, and it should be ready to head out to backers in 2 business days - So most likely, look out for surveys to hit your inbox late Monday or early Tuesday.
Finally, if you know anyone who missed the Kickstarter campaign (or if your initial payment through Kickstarter bounced for any reason), now is the time to help them pre-order the game before it releases! Firelight's BackerKit Pre-Order store is live at: https://firelight.backerkit.com/hosted_preorders
This is the perfect way to get your hands on the game as soon as it releases. Kickstarter exclusives like the $35 "Adventurer (Kickstarter Exclusive)" are not available here, but the base game, all Add-Ons, and the Retailer tier are still up for grabs!

Congratulations Adventurers! Firelight has successfully funded with over $25,000 (that's more than 220% of our original goal)!
Once again, we couldn't have done this without our 400+ backers, so from the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU!
WHAT'S NEXT
Now that Firelight has successfully funded, there are only a few steps remaining before the game hits your doorstep.
1: A BackerKit survey should be sent to your email relatively soon. Look out for this message, because it's super important! The BackerKit survey will allow you to confirm your Add-On selections, your shipping address and more.
2: The funds from Kickstarter should hit our company bank account in approximately two weeks. We'll post an update to let you know when everything comes through.
3: We should be finished with artwork in the next month or so, and with that completed, we'll wrap everything up in our final card designs and send off to the manufacturer, PrintNinja, for printing.
4: The printing and shipping process will be the longest part of the process, and is estimated to take 3-4 months (pending no complications on the shipping side).
5: While the game itself is printing, we'll also need to print and ship our Add-Ons. These will all need time to reach us, as well.
6: After the initial shipping process, Firelight will head right back out to be shipped to your home!
During this period, updates may slow down compared to the pace we kept during the Kickstarter campaign. We will, however, post AT LEAST once during each of the above milestones, and probably more, to keep all of our backers abreast of the latest information.

24 Hours Left + 2nd Stretch Goal Down!

Congratulations Adventurers! Over the last night you powered through our second Stretch Goal with ease! Each copy in the first print run for Firelight will now ship with both a Jumbo Die AND an improved box, featuring thicker cardboard and an awesome magnetic hinge.
Additionally, we've already made great progress on our third Stretch Goal. With $7K more, all of the cards will be upgraded to a sturdy 380gsm thickness. This is my personal favorite of the three primary Stretch Goals, because it really allows the card design and artwork to shine. Plus, 380gsm is nice and thick, and much harder to bend or tear than standard 280gsm card thickness.
Finally, we have just 24 hours left to go in the Firelight campaign! With over $22K in the campaign right now, we're charging towards a strong finish. We raised nearly $5K in the last day alone, and it's been amazing to see such support flooding in as we prepare to close what has been a really humbling 30 days.
New Reward Tier with All Add-Ons

Greetings Adventurers! With 4 days left in the campaign, a new Reward Tier is being added to accommodate those who wish to purchase all of the Add-Ons alongside the Kickstarter-Exclusive version of the game.
Although we will be using BackerKit to send Add-On surveys post-campaign, we've had several requests to make a Reward Tier that includes all Add-Ons aside from the $500 tier for the sake of peace of mind. I'm happy to announce that the new "Collector" tier, available at $170, will now accommodate that request.
For $170, you will get one copy of Firelight including the Kickstarter-Exclusive cards, one set of custom flame/Shroomlet dice, one copy of the Eldritch Visions expansion, one copy of the GM Handbook, one copy of the "Embers: The Art & Lore of Firelight" art book, and one copy of the Map Book.
The prices equal out to the same as they would be for backing the game at $35 and then purchasing all of the Add-Ons, including shipping within the US, Australia and EU.
For anyone who does not want to make a BackerKit account to enter their Add-On information, the Collector tier is a great alternative!
